Former MJAFT Movement Leader Talks About His Alternative to Political Engagement

I am what may be defined as a MJAFT Movement fan. I appreciate what these guys have done to influence the mentality and political culture of Albania and I think that their contribution is indispensable. I would also have to admit that they have made their share of mistakes and misjudgments on different issues in the past, but overall I appreciate their spirit to learn from their mistakes and move on to improving themselves at what they do best.

As many of you should know by now, the founding leadership of MJAFT Movement, left the reigns to a new generation of leaders, in order to move on to their next big thing – what the news have reported, their own political party.

The ex-leader of MJAFT, Erion Veliaj, has come out publicly about his intention and that of his collaborators to come up with their own political party as their version to political engagement.

Clearly, theirs and the country’s dissatisfaction with the current, but old faces of politicians and political parties, has spurred them to think of alternatives and as Erion, admits in an interview for Shqip daily newspaper, he has been traveling a lot more recently, to learn about alternative methods of political engagement.

Well, if you know Albanian, then the interview would be worth reading.
